Overall it’s pretty good. But it’s clear the author is not a gamer or at least not a rpg gamer. The fact that they have the damage numbers in the high hundreds/low thousands and for characters who aren’t even level ten speaks to this. That aside the overall story is catching. Just dont let the inflated game mechanics ruin it for you.

Oh and get used the phrase”no love lost”….. It’s used a LOT. As well as never knowing quite what the main characters levels are. Some authors overdue it and make such things tedious, this author however does the exact opposite and rarely if ever does so. Maybe keep your own tally somehow?

erghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…….. Ya know… any book that has majority female characters in a harem type setting probably shouldn’t be read by a guy, especially when there is alot of flirting. In the end, you’re training yourself to be aroused by male voices that change their tone of voice from masculine to feminine. Das gay, but if the story is good enough and it doesn’t revolve around sex or flirting in every chapter; you can get around that. Not quite for this book. The generic 2 babes clinging to the main character cover was a dead giveaway but I tried it anyways. If the story takes itself seriously, I will take it seriously, but if the author’s intentions feels and acts like a self insert virgin power fantasy, I see it as such and it makes me cringe to no end. This is such a story.

Sexual attraction doesn’t respond to pavlovian triggers. That’s why gay conversion therapy doesn’t work. If listening to a man describe sex with women makes you attracted to men you are either gay or bi. Nothing wrong with that, but don’t wrap your sex issues up in pseudo science.
