The main character in this series is Dominic. The main character in that series is Max.

The book somehow ruins a lot of things, and the characters have absolutely no interest in privacy. Friends act as if Dominik has to tell them everything, so he can’t keep his mouth shut and gives away his bows and daggers with runes. Women force their way into his life, and he simply doesn’t do anything about it, but he’s so sensitive about other things.
