It’s a learned disquisition (with steamy sex scenes)! It’s purpose is not that people may indulge their baby-killing phantasies.
Anyway, interfering in suchlike manner could cause even greater, unforeseen ramifications & catastrophes, of the sort experienced by Marty and the Doc & Dr Sam Beckett and Admiral Al.

My model is per Professor Farnsworth, Philip J Fry, and Bender, whereby the Planet Express crew went to the second universe with a forward time machine, the Professor stopped in the 20th century to shoot Hitler, and was successful.
However, your warning is to be heeded, because in the third universe, however, Farnsworth didn’t manage to kill him, hitting Eleanor Roosevelt by mistake.

Well, that escalated quicker than could have been expected!
caesar963: The sex scenes tag was to simultaneously scare off the Mike Penser’s chaperoned by their mothers and to trick the flat earthers into wisdom.
ssafe05: That all depends on what universe you happen to live in? Current thinking suggests that if you did manage to travel back then anything your about to try has already happened and therefore doomed to failure. I will write to your family and offer my deepest condolences. A touching ceremony will ensue and your hometown will be renamed ssafe05’s folly.

I suspected that it might not be the hoped-for sextravaganza that was…hoped for. The old sexy smokescreen bait & switch.
I thought that the intrepid time traveller could not journey back beyond the date of the creation of the time-machine itself. So, we can just discover what stocks are going to perform well, and get some lottery numbers. We can’t return to our past to tell ourselves not to marry X.
Unless we can cross to one of those “other universes” (Caesar is dubious about those) where time machines were invented earlier. However, then everything would be up in the air again.
The sex scenes might’ve been a relief, in retrospect - if we could have a do-over.
